Xbox One Backwards Compatibility – Time To Vote For Your Favourite Games!

E3 has been rather exciting hasn’t it? There’s been an overwhelming amount of announcements, but the Xbox One backwards compatibility announcement was probably one of my favourites. This is a feature I have been wanting for a while, as I’m sure a lot of you have too.

There’s a lot of games I am not done playing just yet. Some games are even still so good they hold up to current gen’s standards. There currently isn’t a whole lot of games that are backwards compatible due to them needing “to simply be approved by the developer” before being played on the Xbox One. The way to get them approved is to vote here. Most of the games you’d expect have already been voted on but if there’s a specific game you want that hasn’t appeared then then go ahead and add it!

I thought I would compile a list of the top 10 games I want to see and thus have voted for. Click the links if you want to vote for them too!

1. Left 4 Dead 2 (Hopefully the new uncensored version)

2. Forza Motorsport 4 (Arguably still the best Forza game in my opinion)

3. The Orange Box (Half Life dude, Half-freakin’-Life)

4. Portal 2 (Gotta get that cake)

5. Red Dead Redemption (Undead Nightmare too please!)

6. Metal Gear Solid 2/3 HD (To get me through those cold months without The Phantom Pain)

7. Skate 3 (Seriously the best skateboarding game ever, soz Tony)

8. L.A. Noire (Rockstar takes a walk on the…not wild side?)

9. Skyrim (No explanation needed, it’s Skyrim)

10. Chivalry (only got this game yesterday but man is it fun!)

Obviously the first party games like Halo and Gears of War will probably be the first to be approved but hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for the others to start being added!

What would be on your list of classic 360 games to play on Xbox One?
