Notables: Fallout 4 Is A Thing!

Fallout4

Fallout 4 is official!  After a lot of speculation and even a few hoaxes, we now know for sure that we will be getting our next hit of Nuka-Cola. A release date is not yet confirmed but it won’t be long before pre-orders are available at your local store.

Not a whole lot is known about Fallout 4 but it’s pretty safe to say it’s going to be amazing. It’s been 5 years since Fallout New Vegas was released and if you’re anything like me you’ve been itching for a current gen Fallout game.

I’ve been a huge fan of the Fallout series for as long as I can remember. The style and aesthetic is second to none. With a belly full of Nuka Cola and a Fat Man at my side, I was truly immersed in the post apocalyptic wasteland of Washington DC. I think I may have to go back and play through Fallout 3 and New Vegas just to keep my excitement at bay until Fallout 4 is released!

In the meantime check out the trailer below, I will also be attending the Bethesda E3 Showcase in Sydney next week and will have more information on Fallout 4, Doom and whatever else the wizards at Bethesda are working on then.

What do you think of the Fallout series? Is Fallout 4 going to be your first venture out of the vault? Do you prefer another post apocalyptic game? Let me know in the comments below or tweet me @pikalew!

“We know what this game means to everyone,” said Game Director, Todd Howard, “The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”
